Overview of the 2010 Intel desktop CPUs

Latest intel® microprocessors are quite different in design and performance than their predecessors. Performance wise they are much better than the older Core 2 series. Due to differences in design they are not compatible with existing motherboards. Unlike earlier Core 2 series, intel confuses their customers with its branding strategy. E.g. earlier Core i7 processors have four separate cores and latest one has (Core i7 985) six separate cores, with no relationship to number seven.

Latest processors are
1. Core i3
2. Core i5
   a. Series 600
   b. Series 700
3. Core i7
   a. Series 800
   b. Series 900
4. Core i7 extreme

Internet safety tips for teens

Teens these days know much more about computers than most adults, so sometimes its hard to keep up with all the changes, especially if you are trying to keep up with the changes of yesteryear. The Internet is seemingly boundless, as people are finding more and more things to do with it. But a constant problem is Internet safety. When talked about, two things come to mind, hackers, and Internet predators. But there are ways to deter these malicious cyber enemies.

Hacking is done for many reasons, but there are two that stand above the rest. Some do it because there can be profit made. Example: A hacker gains access to your e-mail account, and steals passwords. One of those passwords happens to grant access to your bank account via Internet, and the hacker proceeds to steal the money. The other reasons hackers do what they do, is simply for sport. Example: A hacker gets into your e-mail account,

Tips for handling embarrassing pictures of you on Facebook

We all have those momentary lapses in judgment.  You know, the one where you really thought it would be a good idea to show your underwear while dancing on the coffee table.  Unfortunately, the age of social networking sites means those embarrassing moments aren’t always as easy for us to forget as we’d like.  When embarrassing photos show up on Facebook, follow some of these tips for dealing with it.

1. De-tag
Though you can’t delete a photo that someone else has uploaded, you can remove your tag from the photo.  This means that the picture won’t show up when other users click on the “Pictures of You” link, and it won’t show up if someone searches for your name.

Effects of drinking coffee during pregnancy

Smoking isn’t the only dangerous thing you can do while you are pregnant. Drinking coffee during pregnancy has serious effects on the baby that you should be aware of. Coffee contains caffeine, which is why most people drink it to start with. Coffee perks them up because of the caffeine in it. If you are pregnant, you should consider stopping that habit until you have the baby and are no longer breast feeding.
Caffeine is very highly addictive, which is the first effect that drinking coffee will have during pregnancy. Whatever goes into the mother’s body is, in effect, going to the baby’s body as well. That means you are getting your

Tips for making an easy chocolate milkshake

There is no drink quite as luscious as a thick chocolate shake. Most people think that they have to go to the ice cream shop or fast food restaurant to get a good chocolate shake. Nothing could be farther from the truth, with just a few ingredients and a blender, you can make a great chocolate shake at home anytime you are in the mood for one.
This chocolate milkshake doesn't have to be a diet buster either.  You can use low or no fat milk, ice milk or frozen yogurt and artificially sweetened chocolate syrup to keep the calories down. While this may not be quite as delicious or have the lusciousness of the full fat version, there is a lot less guilt involved which is a very good thing.
Set up
The first thing to do to make a milkshake is to take out your blender. If you haven't used it in a while, open the open the top, remove the pitcher and rinse it out.

Do different sugars make coffee taste different?

Many coffee drinkers rely on sugars and sweeteners to make the experience more enjoyable. This is fine, but truly understanding all of your choices may help make for an even better cup of coffee. Each sugar (or sweetener if you choose) offers something slightly different to a cup of coffee, just as it does with other products.
Sugar, Granulated Sugar, Sucrose- This is the sugar most commonly used both to sweeten coffee and for other purposes. It is table sugar, white, and gently sweet. It sweetens the coffee without adding much of its own flavors to the coffee. This is an option everywhere you go for coffee, whether it is McDonalds, a diner, or a coffee shop.
Brown Sugar-Brown sugar is brown in color, made of smaller crystals, and often sticky. It is also very sweet and has a rich flavor.

Biggest center in the world for the manufacture of automobiles

Toyota had Become the world's largest auto manufacturer in 2007. Prior to that General Motors (GM) had held that position in the market for decades. There is currently a battle for first really, as GM continues to expand despite financial difficulty.
GM's assembly plant complex in Oshawa was the reigning champion in North America from 1999 to 2006 and one of the largest automotive assembly facilities in the world. GM's Oshawa plant was overtaken in production numbers in 2007 by Toyota's Georgetown, Ky assembly plant. Georgetown assembled a staggering 514,000 cars and trucks last year, Oshawa produced 420,000. In previous years the Oshawa plant had produced over 500,000 vehicles per year as well.

That would make, Toyota's Georgetown, Kentucky location the highest in overall production numbers, though not literally the "largest facility in the world."

The Georgetown facility is an estimated 7.5 million square feet, while the GM Oshawa plant has over 10 million. They have since terminated some operations at the GM facility, which lead to Toyota's production number victory in 2007.
The largest truck manufacturing facility is owned by Daimler Trucks division in Germany its 2007 revenue topped 28 billion Euro last year. They held the top spot in the commercial vehicles market with more than 20 percent of the worlds market share.

Set on seven low hills, on the north banks of the River Tagus, Lisbon’s charm is strongly linked to the past. Lisbon was first inhabited by Iberian people, responsible for building the megaliths. After centuries of growing, Lisbon is now one of the liveliest cities in Europe. The renovated palaces, magnificent churches and Art Nouveau buildings are just a few of the things that make up the city’s cultural heritage. There’s an impressive collection of ancient and modern art in many of the city’s museums such as the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, the National Coach Museum, and the Carmo Archaeological Museum. When you’ve seen all the cultural attractions, be sure to head down to Bairro Alto, the center of nightlife, packed with restaurants, bars and clubs. There are also plenty of shopping opportunities either for local merchandise at the Campo de Santa Clara or famous brands in the Centro Commercial Colombo.

Luxor is one of the most popular cities in Egypt, its stars being the monuments of Luxor, Karnak, Hatshepsut and Ramses III. There’s no wonder the city is often referred to as the world’s greatest open air museum, having a great number of well-preserved monuments. The city in itself actually consists of three distinct areas: the City of Luxor on the East side of the Nile, the town of Karnak and Thebes on the west side of the Nile, across from Luxor. You can bargain your way for anything in the city’s bazaar or enjoy the vegetarian paradise Luxor’s restaurants offer its tourists.

Guide to coffee-growing countries

Coffee is supposed to have originated in Ethiopia. The legend is that a shepherd noticed the effect the beans had on his livestock that chewed the beans. It was the Muslims who made the bean popular. As they were forbidden to drink alcohol, coffee became their preferred drink, and it was the Spaniards who brought coffee to South America. In North America tea was the preferred drink, but as tea became more expensive, and coffee coming from South America was inexpensive, it soon became the favored drink.

There are beans from two types of coffee trees: the Arabicas and the Robustas. The Arabicas originated in Ethiopia. Seventy percent of the world's coffee comes from the Arabicas. These beans are lightly roasted and coffee from them is distinctive with a delicate aroma, whereas the Robusta coffee beans are more heavily roasted to cover up a certain woodiness. Although all coffee growing depends on moderate sunshine, moderate rain and rich porous soil,
