Removing stains(part 1)

Coffee and Tea Stain 





  1. Flush the back of the stain with cold water, then soak the garment in equal parts vinegar breaks down the dark tannins in these drinks.
  2. If the stain remains, dab with toothpaste. Its sodium bicarbonate neutralizes the pigmentation. 
Softdrinks Stain

 
  1. Wet the stain area with cold water. 
  2. In a spray bottle, mix 1tbsp. of clear household ammonia and 1 cup of water, then spray the stain with the mixture and blot with a paper towel.
  3. The alkaline solution dissolves the sugar in the soft drink, preventing it from caramelizing and darkening over time.
Lipstick Stain




  1. Most lipstick are oil-based lipstick stain can be treated by a pre-wash stain remover before washing the whole shirt.
  2. Don't rub the stain because the stain can go deeper, just blot the stain with a towel and rinse with warm water.
  3. If the stain is hard to remove, try applying a good liquid detergent to the stain (do not rub the cloth).
